To make the Pocket fit for an other century the most frequent customer requests were incorporated in the new design which is available as of January 2000. Now the Pocket has a round pump handle grip with a shock absorber making pumping painless and comfortable. The outlet hose which can be attached with a small screw on adapter makes filling bottles now a lot easier.

The heart of the pocket is the Katadyn ceramic with a pore size of 0,0002mm (0.2 micron). It reliably holds back all pathogenic bacteria and protozoa such as: giardia, cryptosporidium, salmonella, amoebas, e-coli etc.  With an easy single pumping mechanism water is turned immediately into safe drinking water, retaining its natural mineral content, without the need for boiling. The used ceramic element can easily be cleaned by brushing the surface with an abrasive pad. A measuring gauge is provided to check the minimum diameter of the ceramic element.

The Drip is an optimum filter for providing large water quantities. And it’s very comfortable: Fill with water and the let gravity work for you! The container holds 10 liter / 2.6 gallons filtered water and is ideal for 1– 6 persons in base camps, cabins and homes without running water.

The two plastic containers are stacked together and the water drips without additional water pressure through the filter elements in the lower storage container. With wet filter elements the Drip filters in the first hour up to 4 liter / 1 gallon bacteriological safe drinking water. The water can be drained through the handy outlet tap without loosing a single drop.

The Drip Gravidyn has three combined ceramic & activated carbon filter elements, which additionally reduce chemicals and improve the taste.
