The Xtra Large Axe is an essential part of any outdoorsman’s equipment.  Gerber axes feature lightweight PolymidÔ Fiberglass handles that are virtually unbreakable.  The axe handle is molded around the head of the axe so that the head of the axe will not separate from the handle.  The axe heads are coated with a “TeflonÒ like” coating for shipping purposes only.  This coating will come off in use without damaging the axe.  All Axes are made in Finland.
